UW student killed by bus while skateboarding
of all the people at UW... and at BHS...
it shouldn't have been his time to die.
i haven't stopped thinking about it since i heard the news.
it shouldn't have been his time to die.
people should spell out 'rest in peace' instead of the morbid gravestone caricature 'RIP' when they actually mean it.

+ 'six strings' and everything else by a verse unsung
+ 'sweet rosalyn', 'dark side of the city', and everything else by elisa jordana
+ 'ashes' by embrace
i like a verse unsung the more i listen to them. they're going to be on the front of purevolume.com on april 21st, and i'm excited. it seems so silly to be happy for bands that i like, but they do bring a great comfort to me, and i am thankful for their music.

other things

i kicked my cello's ass tonight. i was rockin'. i had so much stamina, my fingers were solid, i didn't have any noise in between notes, i was loud and pure... pissed off and restless, and i guess that showed. = )
so, on one hand, i've become super confident after hitting the practice room for two hours. i mean, fuck yes, i have a skill and i'm still going strong. not many people can do what i do. i realized some respect for myself.
on the other hand, i still don't know if astro/physics is the right choice for me. = /

err, need to study for linguistics quiz, but i gave victoria my textbook, so now i'm trying to view the lectures slides on my computer, except the presentation viewer in linux is broken, so i am installing openoffice in hopes that i can use it to do amazing things.
ahh, it works. it rocks as it should.
